ATHE Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care

The ATHE Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care has been designed for learners who wish to progress to a health and social care degree but may not have the traditional entry qualifications usually required. The qualification provides learners with an introduction to the health and social care sector as well as key academic, research and communication skills to support learners in their development. This is a 60 credits qualification. Learners must complete the four mandatory units of 15 credits each.

Entry Criteria

  • You must be aged 16 or over to take this qualification.
  • 5 or more GCSEs at grades C and above
  • other related level 2 subjects
  • other equivalent international qualifications

Furthermore, to enter for this qualification, learners must also have an appropriate standard of English to enable them to access relevant resources and complete the unit assignments. We ensure that the international applicants are competent in the English language at a minimum of CEFR level B1(IELTS 4.0-5.0) for a qualification at levels 3-5. If a learner does not have formal certification in English, we offer him/her four weeks of English language classes to enable him/her to meet a minimum of CEFR level B1.

 We provide our registered students with free English Language Support in addition to the main course. If you have any weakness in English or if you are advised by your module tutor, you can participate in English Language Support programme free of cost. Furthermore, you will get sufficient English Language books and other resources in the e-library to enrich your skills in English.

At London School of Social and Management Sciences duration of the ATHE Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care is 4 months. The School runs three academic sessions in a year. Learners can join any session of their choice and convenience.
